Picture Crosswords For Kids

Last updated: 11 August 2026

The short version. Picture Crosswords For Kids collects nothing about you or your child. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics, no tracking, and no third-party software of any kind inside the app. Nothing your child does in the game ever leaves their device.

This policy explains, in plain terms, what the app does and does not do with information. It applies to the Picture Crosswords For Kids iPhone and iPad app published by Raoul Albu-Simionas (“we”, “us”). We wrote it to be read by a parent in two minutes, not by a lawyer in twenty.

Information we collect

None. The app does not ask for, gather, or transmit any personal information. Specifically, it does not collect:

There is no sign-up, no login, and no user account. The app works identically whether or not the device is online.

What is stored on the device

The app saves a small amount of information locally so the game can pick up where your child left off. This stays on the device, is readable only by this app, and is never sent anywhere:

Deleting the app removes all of it. A grown-up can also erase it at any time from Settings → Reset progress inside the app.

Advertising and tracking

There is no advertising in the app — no banners, no interstitials, no “rewarded” video, no cross-promotion of other apps. We do not track users across apps or websites, we do not use the Advertising Identifier, and the app never presents the App Tracking Transparency prompt because there is nothing to ask about. No data is sold or shared with anyone, because none is gathered in the first place.

Third-party software

The app contains no third-party SDKs, no analytics libraries, no advertising networks, and no social media components. It is built entirely from Apple’s own frameworks and our own code.

Purchases

The full game can be unlocked with either a monthly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or receive your payment details — no card number, no billing address, no name. The app is told only whether a valid purchase exists, and stores that single yes-or-no answer on the device.

Apple’s own handling of purchase information is covered by Apple’s Privacy Policy.

Children’s privacy

This app is designed for children, and it is built so that there is nothing to protect: because no personal information is ever collected, none can be exposed, misused, or requested by anyone.

Network access

The app makes no network requests of its own. Every crossword, picture, and word is included in the download or generated on the device. The only network traffic is Apple’s own, when the App Store is asked about a purchase or a restore.

Your rights

Rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal data — under the GDPR, the CCPA, or any similar law — apply to data a company holds about you. We hold none. If you would like the on-device data gone, use Reset progress in the app or delete the app, and it is gone immediately and completely.

Changes to this policy

If the app ever changes in a way that affects this policy, we will update this page and change the date at the top. If a future version were ever to collect anything at all, we would say so here clearly and in advance, rather than quietly widening a definition.
