These terms cover your use of the Picture Crosswords For Kids app, published by Raoul Albu-Simionas. Downloading or using the app means you accept them. The app is also covered by Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement, which applies alongside this page.
The licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own family’s use. You may not resell it, rent it out, reverse-engineer it, or extract its artwork, wordlists, or puzzles for use elsewhere.
What you get free
Without paying anything, the app gives you the first 15 crosswords in full, a preview of the 5 after those, and a new daily crossword every day, in all 26 languages, with no advertising.
Unlocking the full game
The rest of the game can be unlocked in one of two ways. Both unlock exactly the same content; the difference is only how you pay.
- Monthly subscription. An auto-renewing subscription billed each month. It renews automatically at the end of every period until you cancel it. The price is shown in the app before you buy, in your own currency.
- Lifetime purchase. A single one-time payment. It does not renew, does not expire, and is eligible for Family Sharing.
Subscription terms
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the price shown in the app.
- You can manage or cancel the subscription in your device’s Settings → your name → Subscriptions after purchase. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- If a subscription lapses, the game returns to the free crosswords. Everything already finished stays finished.
Refunds
Purchases are made through the App Store, so refunds are handled by Apple rather than by us. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We can’t issue refunds directly, but please tell us if something went wrong.
Restoring a purchase
A purchase is tied to your Apple Account, not to a device. Signing in to the same Apple Account elsewhere and tapping Restore purchase in the grown-up settings will unlock the game there too.
Privacy
The app collects no personal data, shows no advertising, and contains no analytics or tracking. See the Privacy Policy for the full detail.
Availability and changes
We may update the app to add crosswords, fix problems, or improve how it works. We may also change these terms; if we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the app after a change means accepting the revised terms.

The app is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind beyond those that cannot be excluded by law. It is a game, not an educational assessment, and we make no promise about any particular learning outcome. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.
